New Zealand - Annie - Large - Senior - Female - Rabbit
In xxxx a good Samaritan called Indiana HRS to report that an albino rabbit had been hopping around an Indianapolis neighborhood for 3 days when temperatures were in the 90s with heat indices in the 100s. A team of five Indiana HRS volunteers partnered with the good Samaritan and her friends to come to the rabbit's aid. We discovered a skinny, hot, tired, New Zealand White, covered in grease/oil from hiding under cars.
Annie was returned to foster care 2 years ago, along with her "husbun", Wagner. While Wagner crossed the Rainbow Bridge last fall, Annie seems to be thriving in her senior years. She's a curious rabbit, sticking her nose in wherever she thinks there might be something to explore. She enjoys being petted, and wants nothing more than to settle down beside you for some affection.
Annie has fantastic litter box habits, though her litter box needs to be cleaned a couple of times a week... if it's not clean enough for her, she likes to dig the contents out of the box! She's definitely an opinionated girl.
