xxxx Chevy Cheyenne Kxxxx 4X4 regular cab. Automatic, A/C, Cruise control and AM/FM cassette stereo. 164,xxx miles. It has tow package as well as set up for gooseneck trailer.
The Good:
Rebuilt motor with 15,000 miles
New tires with xxxx miles
New battery last month
New brakes
New fuel pump
Rust free bed
Runs and drives good. Steering is a little loose. 4wd works. A/C works. Cruise control works.
The Bad:
Cab corners are rusted
Drivers door starting to rust
Drivers rocker panel rusted
Windshield is cracked
I got this truck off a friend of mine. It quit running a year ago and wanted it out of his driveway. It had a bad ignition control modular. Got it running and cleaned up. Drives and runs good. He did all the above work on truck and had bought a newer truck so he didn't need it anymore. I put the new battery in as well as cleaned it up and have been driving it.
A check engine light does come in and it's a code xxxx which is a bad communication error between cam position sensor and crank position sensor. It's running and don't want to fix right now. It is a 18 year old truck so it is not new.
