Hello! My name is Bowman. I am a 6 year old black lab mix. I weigh in at a healthy 76 pounds and have a shiny black coat which I love to have brushed. My foster parents will be the first to tell you I am gentle and loving. I love to spend time with my family no matter what theyre doing. I enjoy long walks in the neighborhood as long as I get to lead the way. Car rides are the best so I ask to go anytime my fosters grab for their car keys. After a long walk in the neighborhood or a trip to the bank drive-thru for a dog biscuit, I love to sit by your side so you can pet me. Im not bragging when I say Im a smart dog. Ive attended obedience school and know several commands and Im eager to learn more, like how to walk by your side on a leash. I am crate trained in the event that my forever family would need me to be. Exercise is very important to me. My wish is for a forever family who has time to walk me and take me places. I am very food motivated and sometimes I forget where food ends and fingers begin so its important that my family does not include small children. I get along well with other dogs in a social environment, but when it comes to food I dont want to share, so it might be best if I was your only pet.
